Choosing a film camera?

I'm a 16 year old amature photographer, I own a Nikon D60 and am looking to further grow my photography skills with film, just not digital. I have no idea were to start in pick out a film camera. I am more of a Nikon person, but very open to different brands too. I really like the expired polaroid film look.

I was also wondering if I could get that effect with the camera you suggest or if it only works with Polaroid cameras. Also how expired would the film have to be to get that "vintage" cross proceed look. Also where do you think I could get pictures developed to look cross process
I'd really like your thoughts, thanks.
I'd like a camera with film that isnt expesive and easy to find.
I don't have a very high buget, 200 at the most

I would pick up the phone and call the following:

KEH in Atlanta is the largest used camera dealer in the country and they willhave things.

Wing's Camera in Atlanta specializes in vintage cameras and they have a pot load also.

Ask for Arthur at KEH and talk to Mike at Wings. Wings will probably give you the lowest price and will guarantee their cameras. KEH has a guarantee also.
