creative photography contest ideas
attention creative ppl: art idea help?

Attention creative people !
there is an art contest and the topic is "change"
any thoughts or ideas on what could depict change either in photography, painting, drawing etc..?
it could be metaphorical or anything you like.
i would really appreciate it.
thank you very much

One of the most interesting and amusing "changes" is the story..."The Picture of Dorian Gray" about a gentleman who sells his soul in order to prserve his beauty. To which his ugly aged side is captured onto the canvas of an oil done of him sometimes earlier. His weakness was in that as long as the painting was kept safe he would live eternal. And I guess you can get to the conclusion from there that no matter who the buyer and sellers are, you can't keep change at bay...everyone has to pay that fidler at one time or another. And if you've ever seen the movie The League of Extraordinary Gentleman ther is an homage to the tale as well as a few other victorian era tales. this league was made up of the vampiress Mina Harker from Bram Stoker's Dracula, Captain Nero from 20,000 Leagues under the Sea by Jules Verne, Dr. Jekyll, Dorian Gray, the Invisible Man, etc. The movie starred Sean Connery as Quartermaine and was a good view! However there was a better piece specifically based on solely the story of sir Dorian...and it was the first time I had heard the tale bringing cause to want to read the play by Oscar Wilde
The Picture of Dorian Gray (1976) (made-for-television)
Directed by John Gorrie; screenplay by John Osborne
Starring Peter Firth as Dorian Gray; Jeremy Brett as Basil Hallward; John Gielgud as Henry Wotton; Judi Bowker as Sibyl Vane
It was a British deal which was true to tale written and I adored the characters. I hope the reference to this tale inspires you in your endeavor if not at least enertains you and it does incorporate the painting and metaphorical concepts you were looking for.
