Where are the best local places to purchase used camera equipment in the bay area?

Optimally between San Francisco and San Jose, I have heard of San Francisco photo swaps, San Jose is having a Photo exposition, and there are places in Palo Alto like K&S that sell used equipment. I have used craigslist mostly, but am interested in finding a more reliable, wider range of items that have just as good deals. I enjoy dealing locally as I can ask the seller what they think of a particular lens, and in the case of selling I am happy to show them in what situations i would use the lens and what features make it shine. Do you have any particular ideas? Thanks,

While not in the bay area, and actually all the way across the country, B&H Photo (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/) does have a good used program. Only found out about it earlier this year when I traded in some old equipment and took a discount on a new digital DSLR. Now I'm about to go buy a used lense from them as I broke one of mine. Price difference is good, and they let you know of any wear on the item.
