computer program for video at a live event?
HI,
I work for a summer camp and we just got some video production equipment including cameras and a green screen. We wanted to put on a show using the green screen and was wondering if there is a (free) computer program that will let us green screen things in real time and switch seamlessly to premade videos at times for the show.
Like an example would be: start show> premade video plays of the opening> live video in front of green screen (background now is an African safari) > actors pretends to see a lion in the distance > camera cuts to a video of a lion in the distance > cut back to actor in front of green screen.
This would all be live with it playing on tv screens around the room for the kids to watch during the performance.

Key points: This is for a LIVE event, I have the capability of doing all this in post production, but not in real time which is what we need.

Yes. I recently downloaded an app (for free) called Chormakey Live. Google it. It works well.
