Comments on my photography?
Heya,
I'm 14 years old and recently started getting an interest in photography so I done some research on it and took some photographs of my own and would like to know what you think and any ways that I can improve, just make sure you actually know what you're talking about before telling me what to improve, there's been quite a few people telling me different things to improve and when i've tried it, it's turned out horribly.
Also, i'll be taking a visit to this place called birdworld this weekend with my sister, nephew and niece and i'll be taking my camera and would like to know any tips of photographing birds.
Anyway, here's a few of my pictures:
Thanks for any help and any replies in general =D
I photograph a lot of birds. Birds are in three places: on the ground, on a tree, and flying through the air.
To get them on the ground, you have to be low, I usually sit in my car. When they are in trees, I Iike to get silhouettes; my favorites are of a few birds together in a tree interacting.
Getting them in the air is more difficult, but makes the best pictures. You have use a high speed setting and be on edge because they fly by fast. Just take many shots really fast.
I use film for my flying bird shots because I think film takes better pictures of the sky, which will be in the background when you point up. You have to decide in advance if you want silloutte of the bird, and a normal sky, or normal picture of the bird and a bright sky. The exposure you use depends on the brightness of the bird's feathers. I photograph crows mostly -- and they are pretty black.
