Best art Colleges in the US and states?

I am currently looking to enroll into college in the Fall, and would like to pursue Graphic Design, or Photography, or possibly 3d modeling/Animation. Firstly, what are the best art colleges (in regard to my major or not) in the U.S.? And then what would be the best art colleges in California, Followed by what are the best in San Francisco? I've been thinking of moving to SF, and have done some research on AAU, which i've heard tons of mixed reviews. It's either a very good school or bad I really can't tell. I haven't done too much research on SFAI which i've heard is somewhat good. Art Institute chains im going to avoid completely. and i've also heard CCA in SF is a good school. All in all I am very confused as to what school to attend. Any insight would be nice, and please backup your answers with reasons. Thanks!

As the other responder mentioned, the School of Visual Art in NYC and Rhode Island School of Design are excellent schools for all of the majors you're thinking about. Savannah is also good. So are Pratt (NYC), Parsons (NYC), and MICA (in Maryland). In California, the best art schools are CCA in SF, CalArts in Valencia, and Art Center in Pasadena. In San Francisco, AAU and the Art Institute are kinda sketchy / hit or miss. SFAI is good. But CCA is the best.

Explores the way that the UK's towns and cities have changed at the turn of the millennium. This work describes the way that environmental and demographic change, economic pressures and the needs of community could change urban areas forever just as the garden city movement did a century ago....
