What is a digital SLR? Whats a good camera for a beginning photographer?
im really interested in photography and just want to know the difference between SL R's and other cameras, any other tips for beginning photographers would be much appreciated.
SLR means single lens reflex.
basically what you see through the viewfinder is what will be recorded on the film/sensor.
They have interchangeable lenses and offer more control over compact or point and shoot cameras.
