Bird watching season starts late April and remains all the way up to the first days of June.  Watching birds is better between 5:30 am and 9:30 am and then in the afternoon between 5 pm and 7:30 pm, with the morning being much better.

Bird watching is second only to gardening as a favorite leisure activity in North America.  It is one of the leading recreational activities in the country, second only to gardening.
